NSBE's Pre-College Initiative (PCI) Program promotes college, academics, technology, and leadership to pre-college students between grades 6 through 12. In accordance with the New York City 'XL' Chapter, the PCI program provides mainly tutoring in math and science, SAT Prep, guest speakers and field trip opportunities for our New York Metro area students.

NSBE-AE PCI continues to pave the path for many NSBE Jr. members to eventually attend college and carve out successful careers in science, engineering and the real world. Founded in 1992 at Pratt University, the chapter continues to meet at the Cooper Union Saturday mornings during the school year. In 2003, NSBE-AE PCI was recognized by its parent organization as the national chapter of the year.

Our PCI chapter meets on Saturday mornings from 10 am-1 pm SHARP during the school year. Light refreshments are provided for the students after each session.
